Back in 2014, six months before my 40th birthday, I decided to get serious about my health. I began to eat healthy, lift weights, and run. I quickly discovered that “just” running was too boring for me, so I took up Triathlon.
As a challenge for my 40th birthday, I signed up for the Chicago Olympic triathlon, which was to be held a day before my birthday. After finishing I was hooked on triathlon.
My goal was to one day finish an Ironman. In October of 2017, I was able to do that in Louisville, KY. This year I’m training for Ironman Wisconsin. I would also like to to compete in TT.
